BCR-MC Custom Datapack
The BCR-MC datapack is included in the server's world and does not need to be downloaded. Regardless, you can download the latest version of it at
bcr-mc.xyz/dp/latest if you want to browse its contents or use it in a singleplayer world. Previous versions of the pack for
older seasons are available at the same URL, with "latest" replaced with "bcr" followed by the season number, e.g. "bcr6". Not all previous pack versions
are available.
The datapack's companion resource pack is needed to properly display text, added textures, and play custom sounds (e.g. for the added music discs).
The server should prompt you to download it upon joining, and you should see it automatically added to your resource pack list if successful.
Otherwise, you can download the most recent resource pack manually at bcr-mc.xyz/rp/latest.
Downloading the resource pack is not strictly required, but any text from the datapack (names of advancements, items...) will only show
as their translation keys, and no textures or sounds the datapack tries to use will work correctly.
You can view the datapack's source code at its GitHub repository.

Additional Music Discs
19 custom music discs have been added, which can be acquired one of two ways:
1) All discs can be manually crafted by placing
8 black dye or dried kelp in a square, and then placing one valid item or block in the middle. Discs have groups of items/blocks
that are valid for each of them, so it's not always one single item that could be correct.
2) Some discs can have their crafting recipes revealed (meaning, it becomes available in your recipe book) by fulfilling certain criteria, the nature
of which varies depending on the disc, and is usually thematic to them.
Succeeding in either of these methods will grant you an advancement for the relevant disc.
Haste Potions
Recipes have been added to allow crafting potions with the Haste status effect, which is normally only granted by Beacons. Datapacks do not yet support Brewing Stand recipes as of 1.21.11, so they are offered as shapeless crafting recipes.
A base Potion of Haste requires one of each:
- Water Bottle (or any other brewed potion)
- Nether Wart
- Cocoa Beans
- Sugar
Potion of Haste II can be crafted with the above recipe plus one Glowstone Dust, and a longer Potion of Haste I can be crafted with the above plus one Redstone.
Manual Copper Oxidation
A handful of smelting recipes have been added that make it possible to manually oxidize copper by using a furnace. Placing any copper block into a furnace will advance its oxidzation by one stage, and the recipe takes 20 seconds to complete. It grants no experience. Excluding the base unoxidized state, there are three stages of oxidzation, so fully oxidizing a copper block would take a full minute.
