  2. Select Internet Settings, select the network you are connected to (there should be a checkmark to the right of it), and select Change Settings.
  3. Change DNS Settings to Manual, then set your Primary DNS to 104.238.130.180*, and set your Secondary DNS to 1.1.1.1.

Connecting on Bedrock (Other)

  1. Hit Play, then select the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and select Add Server.
  3. In the Server Name box, enter whatever you'd like. This will only affect the title of the server for yourself.
  4. In the Server Address box, enter play.bcr-mc.xyz.
  5. In the Port box, enter the number 19132 if it is not there already.
  6. The server will now be available at the bottom of your Servers list, in the future.

What's New

You can read up on the overall changes and additions in Minecraft 1.21 on the Minecraft Wiki.

This year's server datapack comes with a handful of smelting recipes that will make it easier to oxidize copper.

  • Placing any copper block into a furnace will advance its oxidzation by one stage, and the recipe takes 20 seconds to complete. It grants no experience.
  • Excluding the base unoxidized state, there are three stages of oxidzation, so fully oxidizing a copper block would take a full minute.

A handful of custom music discs have been added with this year's datapack. Custom music discs can only be acquired by crafting them — every music disc is crafted by placing 8 black dye in a square, and then placing a valid item or block in the middle. Discs have groups of items/blocks that are valid for each of them, so it's not always one single item that could be correct.

No mods at all are required to join the server, these are just suggestions.
Every mod below works with Fabric, is likely to work with Quilt, and will not work with Forge.
Bedrock Edition players cannot use these mods.
